ATV Quad Safari in Köprülü Canyon

An ATV quad safari is the most hands-on way to explore the tracks around Köprülü Canyon. You ride the quad yourself on a dedicated off-road circuit, then cool off with a rafting run on the river, with guide and lunch included for €50 per person.

Prices are per person, with one quad shared by two. A quad carries a maximum of two riders, so families of three or more can travel together in a family buggy.

Children aged 4–10 pay half price and ride as passengers with a parent, and under-4s go free.

What Exactly Is an ATV Quad?

An ATV, short for all-terrain vehicle and also known as a quad bike, is a four-wheeled off-road machine you ride like a motorbike. You sit astride, steer with handlebars and control your speed with a thumb throttle.

It is easy to learn and very stable, yet it feels more physical and adventurous than a buggy because you lean into every bend.

How the Quad Safari Works

Helmet fitting and briefing

The team fits your helmet and explains how to start, accelerate, brake and steer.

Practice before the ride

You try out the controls on a short practice section before joining the group.

Off-road convoy

Following the lead guide, you ride dusty and sometimes muddy tracks for at least 40 minutes, swapping drivers halfway if you share a quad.

Rafting and lunch

The rest of the day is spent rafting the Köprülü River for two to three hours and enjoying lunch by the water.

Quad Bike or Buggy: Which Should You Choose?

Both run on the same type of track and cost the same. Pick the quad if you enjoy the feeling of a motorbike and want to be more active.

Choose the buggy if you prefer a steering wheel, seat belts and sitting side by side with your partner or child.

Payment and Cancellation

With hotel transfer, you pay a deposit for one person when booking and the rest on the day; without transfer, you pay at the canyon. Cash and card are accepted, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the tour and the price stays the same if you skip an activity.

Do I need a driving licence for the quad?

No. The quads run on their own off-road track, so no licence is required, although drivers must be 16 or older.
