Why Camp in Köprülü Canyon?

The canyon was declared a national park in 1973 and is one of the greenest corners of the Antalya region. The Köprülü River flows cold and clear through a deep limestone gorge, surrounded by pine and cypress forest. In the evening, when the day visitors have left, the canyon becomes quiet and you hear only the water and the cicadas. On clear nights, far from city lights, the sky is full of stars.
