How the Zipline Works

A zipline is a steel cable stretched between two points, with the start higher than the finish. You wear a harness and a helmet, the staff clip you to a pulley on the cable, and gravity does the rest. There is nothing to steer and nothing to learn: you sit back in the harness, hold the straps and enjoy the view as you glide over the canyon. At the other end the staff slow you down and unclip you.

Before your turn, the team gives a short safety briefing and checks every harness. If you feel nervous, watch a few people go first. Most guests who hesitate at the start want to go again at the end.

Your Day

  • Morning: hotel pickup between 06:45 and 09:55, depending on your area.
  • 10:30: meeting at Köprülü Canyon, equipment and briefing.

  • Zipline: your flight over the canyon.
  • Lunch by the river, then the transfer back to your hotel.

Köprülü Canyon Zipline or Tazı Canyon Zipline?

There are two very different ziplines in the area. The one in this tour is a fun, short flight at Köprülü Canyon, perfect after rafting and suitable for families. The Tazı Canyon Zipline is a record-breaking line: 1,960 m long and 410 m above the canyon floor, sold as its own tour with jeep safari and transfer for €160. If you want a relaxed adventure day, choose this one; if you want the most extreme zipline in Turkey, choose Tazı.

Payment and Cancellation

With hotel transfer, you pay a deposit for one person when booking and the rest on the day. Without transfer, you pay in full at the canyon. Cash and card are accepted. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. The price stays the same if you decide to skip the zipline.

Is the zipline safe?

Yes. You wear a harness and helmet, the equipment is checked before every flight, and trained staff clip you in and out.

Can I take a phone on the zipline?

Only if it is secured in a closed pocket or a strap. Loose items can fall into the canyon.

Can I book the zipline without rafting?

At Köprülü Canyon the zipline comes with rafting, in this tour or in the Mini Combo and Super Combo.
